the Healing Festival 2015

It was a sunny and beautiful day

i met nice people and had good fun

 my work in the Botanic garden

felt at home

and i was so lucky to be just near 

the Harp on Wight crew...harp music all day!

what a treat 

Just under this indian bean tree, i stayed all day...

it was in blossom and its flowers

were just a blissful treasure !

and I have been announced part of the 

ETSY Christmas Market in Portsmouth 

( it might have been the first card i sold , the snowy one, to bring me luck!)

Simple treasures

summer is at its end,

Silk thread Dyeng

One of my new experiments

is to dye my own threads.

With special colors 

and the help of a dedicated 

microwave

 Silk can't go over 85°, 

so it was a bit tricky to find the right setting of the oven

( I might have fund it though)

It is a beautiful technique, 

but remember is quite difficult to control the shades totally, 

as dyeing is more like an alchemy!

The new

After the dream of books,

 a new dream starts: to dye and create my own background textiles.

 And as the previous, this field is to me completely new...and the new is made of times of research, experiments, where it is important to hold on to your dream, in despite of "failures", and the times you seem to not to get anywhere... to discover the new , faith is required. 

But the dream is always there, smiling to you, and ready with HIS hand
